Meet the Owner

  • Mandy Williams
  • Owner & Stylist

I genuinely believe that hairstylists have the ability to make people feel and look their best, not only when they leave the salon, but throughout their daily lives. I believe in building a strong relationship with every client. I’m passionate about teaching and helping our stylists navigate the waters of being a new stylist. I enjoy lifting women up and being there for them, if they are to need it. Most of all, I believe in doing everything you do as unto the Lord giving thanks for all of it. (Col 3:17)

Shear Joy ORIGINS

Shear Joy Salon opened in 2016, but our original group of stylists have been together much longer than that. Years ago, they were together in a salon and when that salon got new ownership, the seven of them decided to all move over to a loft style set-up together.

While that was good, something better was in store. Ken and Mandy had an opportunity to open a salon, which was right across the street from the lofts. Everything checked out and Shear Joy Salon was born and has been organically growing ever since.

Ken and Mandy believe in honoring God by giving back to the surrounding community. The salon partners with local non profits that are making a difference! Here are a few that we have recently worked with:
